Job summary

Noonlight, an Alarm.com company, is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to build features for lifesaving APIs and web apps. You will own projects from ideation to delivery and collaborate with product managers to remove barriers, using AI tools to enhance development quality and efficiency.

You will develop REST APIs with Node.js, Express/Fastify, MongoDB in a microservice setup and craft high-quality React.js web experiences for 24/7 dispatchers, driving safety-focused outcomes across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience mentoring other engineers.
• Strong front-end and back-end development skills.
• Experience leveraging AI/code tools for faster, higher-quality software development.
• Experience with database design and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale projects across the full software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs using Node.js and MongoDB in a microservice architecture.
• Build and maintain web applications used by 24/7 dispatchers in React.js.
