Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Portal team, driving features and maintaining scalable web applications across devices. This role emphasizes collaboration across Product, Development, QA, and cross-functional teams.

The candidate will adhere to SDLC and security standards while delivering reliable software, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to CI/CD and automation initiatives. Strong communication across time zones is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering/science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software development with front-end and modern frameworks.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices in Java/Spring.
• Proficient with Agile/SAFe, Scrum, CI/CD, TDD/BDD, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and delivery of new features and services.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, responsive web applications.
• Collaborate with Product, Dev, QA, and cross-functional teams to implement requirements.
• Adhere to SDLC, coding standards, security, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues across environments.
• Leverage CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted development practices to improve quality and delivery.
• Provide technical leadership through solution design and release support.
