Job summary

IPT Associates (IPTA) is seeking a senior software engineer to design scalable, secure solutions for government and business clients. You will work on modernizing development practices and integrating CI/CD with nonproprietary tooling.

The role requires DoD 8570 Level II/III certification and an active security clearance, with eight years of experience in a related field. Collaboration across teams and mentoring is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Angular and Spring Boot.
• Testing with Jest and JUnit.
• Great communication and organizational skills.
• Eight (8) years of prior experience in a similar role.
• DoD 8570 Level II/III certification.
• Active Security Clearance Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide design of technical solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, reliability, and open-standard code.
• Create and maintain an SDMP detailing branching, code reviews, and CI/CD integration.
• Write, test, and maintain clean, secure source code in the government GIT repo and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure code passes automated quality and security scans (SAST) and remediate findings before completion.
• Identify, report, analyze, and remediate technical debt as directed by the government.
• Research and prototype emergent technologies (AI/ML, low-code/no-code, automation, AI-assisted coding) and mentor teammates.
