Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience as a full-stack engineer, with a solid understanding of web applications, backend systems, and large language models (LLMs).
• Experience designing and implementing scalable features, with knowledge of design patterns and industry best practices.
• Commitment to software engineering best practices, including design, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Strong knowledge of Java or a similar programming language.
• Solid grounding in computer science, data structures, and database concepts.
• Ability to analyze a problem, explain it clearly to teammates, and collaborate on a high-quality, timely solution.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Develop application code using established methods that meet acceptance criteria.
• Review designs and collaborate with architects.
• Develop technical designs, including any needed automation strategies.
• Work with the product owner to clarify story requirements.
• Partner with subject matter experts to get guidance on development questions.
• Write stories, data mappings, test cases, and success criteria that inform development.
• Build and deploy code through approved channels.
• Write automated tests for application code, including unit, integration, functional, acceptance, performance, and smoke tests.
• Commit to and take ownership of iteration goals.
