Job summary

CoStar Group, a leader in real estate information and analytics, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to expand the data platform powering CoStar Suite, LoopNet, Homes.com and Apartments.com. You will work on API-driven systems, AI-enabled workflows, and large-scale distributed services using TypeScript, C#, .NET, and AWS.

The role is based in Arlington, VA, with in-office Mon–Thu and remote Fridays. You’ll collaborate with Product, Research and Data teams to innovate and improve platform

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of deep .NET (C#) development and web APIs.
• 5+ years of TypeScript and modern JS tooling (Node, React).
• Experience with Terraform and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems and agile work environments.
• Familiarity with LLMs, AI workflows, and observability platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build big, distributed, API-driven systems for tens of thousands of users.
• Integrate AI skills, agents, tools, and intelligent workflows into internal systems and customer apps.
• Produce robust, maintainable code using TypeScript, C#, .NET, SQL Server, AWS.
• Develop customer-facing and internal web apps with React/TypeScript.
• Leverage AI models for monitoring, observability, and diagnostics to improve reliability.
• Lead software design, development standards, and code reviews.
