Trunk Tools is an early-stage AI company revolutionizing construction. We’re building production‑ready AI agents and expanding our team to scale across the jobsite.

You will join cross‑functional squads with product, design, and business stakeholders to bring our roadmap to life. As a full‑stack engineer, you’ll own end‑to‑end capabilities using our Node/Express/React stack, design data schemas, and help scale systems to thousands of users.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable past experience in one or more leveraged, high-output full-stack engineering roles.
• Highly proficient in TypeScript and full-stack development across backend and frontend, with experience in our technical stack (Node + Express + React).
• You have experience architecting systems, designing data schemas, and are comfortable with both relational and non-relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Create the next generation of product experience: build new features across the Trunk Tools platform and work hands-on with our LLM-enabled agentic product experience.
• Own capabilities end-to-end: drive new capabilities from concept to production, collaborating with product and design, and scaling features with real users.
• Collaborate with ML/vision engineers, LLM domain experts, and integrations team on complex platform integrations and data processing.
• Constantly improve technical reliability and ability to scale by iterating on backend architecture.
• Strategic participation: help inform architecture, practices, and tools used daily.
