Job summary

Adyen is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for Customer Interfaces in San Francisco to lead the evolution of our experience platform. You will build end-to-end streaming, multi-modal UIs and architect backend agentic workflows including tool-use, chains, and policy layers.

AI is an integrated capability to enable secure financial operations. You’ll drive intelligent UIs with real-time adaptability, design Java services that orchestrate data pipelines, mentor teammates, and enforce zero-trust

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Senior Software Engineer level with ownership of distributed web apps.

Responsibilities

• Drive Intelligent Customer Interfaces: build Dynamic/Agentic UI components in Vue/Preact.
• Architect backend integration: design Java services orchestrating data pipelines and Agentic workflows.
• Raise the Bar: establish engineering standards, mentor via code reviews and documentation.
• Engineer Zero-Trust AI Guardrails: architect security/policy layers for Agentic workflows.
