Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, develop, and deliver robust, scalable services across the full software lifecycle. You will own low‑level design, API contracts, and data models within your domain, ensuring reliability, performance, and clean integration with other systems.

Collaborate with product, architecture, and peer engineers to raise engineering practices, contribute to observability, and safely apply AI/ML‑enabled features to real‑world travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Several years of professional software development experience in production services.
• Experience owning the design and implementation of services, API design, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and fundamentals.
• Experience with testing, monitoring, and operational best practices.
