Gradelink, an award-winning online school administration system, is seeking a senior full-stack developer for an on-site role in Foothill Ranch, CA. You will contribute production code across the full application lifecycle and participate in architecture decisions.

You bring 8+ years of full-stack experience, strong .NET/ASP.NET MVC/API and .NET Core, plus deep SQL and modern front-end skills. You’ll collaborate with founders, designers, and on-site QA, modernizing legacy apps while applying

Strong appreciation for layered web architecture and scalable design patterns.

Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills; history of engineering excellence.
8+ years of professional full-stack web development experience.
5+ years of experience with C#, JavaScript or TypeScript, MS SQL, HTML, and CSS.
Deep experience with the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET MVC/API and .NET Core or Razor Pages.
Deep experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
Experience designing relational databases and writing complex MS SQL, Dapper, or similar queries.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience using AI tools for development; Claude Code a plus.
Experience in Agile teams using Scrum.
Familiar with Git, GitHub, Gitflow, and CI/CD.
Committed to software best practices: testing, coding standards, reviews, builds, maintenance.
Able to learn quickly across new domains.
Solid understanding of responsive design and responsive web apps.
Mobile development experience with Ionic, Capacitor, or cross-platform frameworks is a plus.
Experience modernizing or migrating legacy applications to current frameworks is a plus.
React experience is a plus.
jQuery experience is a plus.
Some XML or XSLT experience is a plus.
Knowledge of school administration or school management software is a plus.
On-site in Foothill Ranch, CA; relocate before starting.
Background check may be required; eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Contribute production code throughout the application development lifecycle.
Participate in architecture and design decisions.
Help improve engineering quality across the team.
Maintain and extend a large-scale production system while supporting its next-generation replacement.
Work across legacy and modern frameworks as we modernize the platform.
Use AI-assisted development tools and advance our use of them.
Collaborate with a small on-site team of developers and QA engineers.
Work closely with founders and designers on product requirements and user experience.
Coordinate with our remote team supporting front-end and mobile development.
Report to our Software Engineering Manager and help shape product direction with the founders.
