Job summary

Stellarus is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver complex features across UI, API, and data layers in a healthcare context. You’ll build scalable, secure backends and polished interfaces while guiding teams in a hybrid Oakland, CA environment.

You will work with Azure/AWS/GCP cloud-native apps, Docker-based containers, and AI-assisted coding tools, contributing to diagnostics, CI/CD, and cross-functional collaboration. Emphasis on delivering business value with pragmatism.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
• BA/BS or equivalent IT experience.
• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building backend services and APIs using .NET, Java, Node.js, Python.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases and RESTful integrations.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
• Experience with containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform) to provision cloud resources.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude).
• Healthcare domain experience preferred.
• Interoperability standards (Epic) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and delivery of complex features across UI, API, and data layers.
• Develop secure, testable, and maintainable code.
• Lead integrations and data models for distributed systems.
• Ensure cloud-ready applications with CI/CD workflows.
• Contribute to logging, monitoring, and diagnostics.
• Leverage AI tools to boost productivity and code quality.
• Collaborate with product/design/QA/platform teams for scalable solutions.
• Provide mentorship through design and code reviews.
