Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 12+ years of professional software development experience in full-stack, system architecture.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, RESTful and streaming APIs; cloud-native microservices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership through hands-on development, mentorship, and setting high engineering standards to multiply team impact.
• Build and maintain trust across cross-functional teams, sharing credit and fostering collaborative execution.
• Design and develop architecture solutions that balance simplicity, quality, scalability, and security.
• Simplify complex systems and workflows by eliminating friction, reducing toil, and streamlining handoffs.
• Create reusable patterns, guardrails, and tooling to accelerate team delivery and ensure consistency.
• Quickly adapt to new domains, technologies, and problem spaces, demonstrating flexibility and continuous learning.
• Apply strong engineering fundamentals across software design, data management, testing, and distributed systems.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools thoughtfully throughout the development lifecycle, maintaining human oversight for critical decisions.
• Develop software with a focus on reliability, incorporating secure coding practices, observability, testing, and disciplined deployment strategies.
• Ensure production systems meet high standards of resiliency, performance, scalability, and operability.
