Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Engineer to deliver high-quality web applications, interactive dashboards, and backend integrations within an agile team. You will build modern user interfaces, connect services to complex data objects, and embed AI features across the application ecosystem.

The role focuses on creating intuitive data visualizations, resilient APIs, DevOps automation, and scalable features enterprise-wide, with collaboration across engineering, data, product and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full stack software development experience.
• 3+ years with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts).
• 3+ years of experience with backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, C#) and API design (REST, GraphQL).
• Strong hands-on experience integrating applications with relational and NoSQL databases, ORMs, and complex data objects.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Practical experience or strong working knowledge of integrating AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, LLMs) into software features.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting full stack application, database, and integration issues.
• Hands-on experience with YAML configurations, and automation scripting (Python, Shell, or PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting file transfer, connectivity, security, and automation issues across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Willingness to identify and implement continuous delivery best practices and take ownership within a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
