Roblox is seeking an experienced, AI-native full-stack engineer to join the Safety org at our San Mateo headquarters. You will own end-to-end features, drive safety-focused product improvements, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with security, infra, and client-platform teams.

Qualifications

• Distributed Systems Architecture: design and implement robust, high-throughput microservices with a focus on safety and security.
• Full-Stack Proficiency: end-to-end features using front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Lua) and app/system languages (Rust, C#, C++).
• Safety-Driven Mindset: prioritize user safety, data integrity, and policy compliance.
• Equivalent experience or BS in Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete lifecycle for full-stack features within Account Authentication.
• Support platform expansion onto consoles (Xbox, PlayStation).
• Enable passwordless sign-up with recoverable accounts.
• Scale backend systems with token authentication on edge nodes.
• Implement service accounts to support testing (and NPCs) by 3P agents.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with security, infra, and client platform teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute technically.
• Take ownership of projects end-to-end.
• Drive adoption of core safety applications across teams.
• Propose and land solutions for ambiguous problems with cohorts of 2-4 junior contributors.
