Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build a platform providing real-time visibility into security certification programs, project status, testing progress, and milestones. The role focuses on scalable apps that source data from multiple systems and deliver insights via dashboards and reports.

The position is a flexible hybrid opportunity requiring onsite presence two days per week in RTP, NC and is a long-term contract with potential for extension and conversion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong experience with Python and React.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources and building reporting/dashboard solutions.
• Experience with REST APIs and modern application architectures.
• Agile development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a web-based platform for tracking certification programs and project progress.
• Build front-end applications using React and backend services using Python.
• Integrate data from multiple internal systems, databases, and APIs.
• Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and workflow automation capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and program teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.

Compensation & Benefits of the Senior Software Engineer:

• $130,000 - $160,000 base salary
