Qualifications

• 8–12 years of software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Founder or early-stage startup experience is a plus.
• Strong web fundamentals: React, TypeScript, SQL, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with Go, Rust, Node.js, or Bun is useful.
• Hands-on with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and production systems.
• Familiar with AI-assisted development and planning for coding agents.
• Experience with marketplaces, e‑commerce, inventory, invoicing workflows.
• CS degree or equivalent engineering background; US-compatible hours.

About the Role

Join a small engineering team building a marketplace for GPU computing. This senior, backend-focused role combines architecture and hands-on development, with the opportunity to shape product features and contribute across a fast-moving startup.

What You'll Do

• Architect and build backend services and frontend features for inventory, orders, requests for quotes, and invoicing.

• Plan features, write clear specifications, and use AI coding agents to accelerate development while reviewing output for quality and correctness.

• Develop platform capabilities such as identity and business verification workflows, messaging integrations, live chat, and AI-assisted customer support.

• Design, deploy, and maintain production systems, with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.

• Take part in standups and product discussions, and help resolve customer support requests as needed.

What We're Looking For

• 8 to 12 years of software engineering experience, including a backend-heavy background and shipped customer-facing web applications.

• Experience as a founder or at an early-stage startup, with a self-directed, adaptable approach to work.

• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, and modern web fundamentals; experience with Go, Rust, Node.js, or Bun is useful.

• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and operating production systems end to end.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development, including planning work and writing specifications for coding agents.

• Experience with marketplaces, e‑commerce, inventory, invoicing, or related business workflows.

• A computer science degree or equivalent engineering background, and availability for US-compatible hours, including core collaboration hours from 11 AM to 4 PM Eastern.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $200,000 to $275,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
