Job summary

Baer is looking for a seasoned Full Stack DevOps Engineer to join our Product Engineering team on a 12-month engagement in Atlanta, GA. The role is hybrid with three onsite days, focusing on scalable, cloud-native software for customers and commercial products.

As a senior contributor, you will drive architectural choices, build secure APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; equivalent Product Operating Model experience considered.
• 5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience.
• Experience developing within a Salesforce environment.
• Proficiency in designing cloud-native, distributed systems and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise software applications.
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering Leads to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality software across multiple product teams.
• Influence application architecture, system design, and engineering best practices.
• Develop secure, maintainable APIs, services, and user interfaces.
• Build and enhance cloud-native applications using modern engineering principles.
• Develop integrations with Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Champion software quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and documentation.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose enhancements.
