capzlog.aero is seeking a Senior Developer to join our Swiss SaaS team building an aviation-focused software stack including mobile apps, web apps, and background services.

You will work directly with founders and core teammates, contributing to architecture, design decisions, and implementation across Flutter, React Native, and .NET Core, with a focus on mobile capabilities and AI-enhanced features.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Senior Developer with broad know-how, passionate about technology and aviation. Working directly with our core team, including the company founders, you will help us to further develop our software solution consisting of mobile apps, web applications and background services for pilots, airlines, and flight schools.

Your responsibilities

• Developing a thorough understanding of our business and use cases to work directly with stakeholders, partners, and customers.
• Active participation in discussions about software design, architecture, and features.
• Coordination with various teams within the company: project management, quality assurance, and UX design.
• Timely delivery of high-quality software solutions, using modern technologies: Flutter, Expo/React Native, .net Core, SQL Server, containers, etc.
• Tasks throughout the technology stack but focus on mobile development.
• Expanding the AI integration in the software development process.
• Ensuring high standards of software programming and adherence to code conventions.
• Coaching, mentoring and supporting the professional development of junior team members.

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least some experience in a senior role.
• General understanding of IT principles and systems such as networks, hardware, security, and scalability.
• Strong understanding of software design and architecture principles.
• Good understanding of agile development methodologies.
• Experience in building complex business mobile apps with Flutter and/or Expo/React Native, including offline data storage, background data synchronization, notifications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, JavaScript and web front-end libraries (React, Angular).
• Knowledge and experience in container and/or cloud-based technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, etc.).
• Experience in AI introduction and configuration at team level.
• Aviation knowledge, business and/or hand-on experience.
• A pilot license and/or enthusiasm for aviation.
• Good working knowledge of German.
