Zachary Piper Solutions in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and secure web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Linux, and open-source technologies while contributing to system architecture, DevOps automation, and Agile development initiatives.

This hybrid role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Drupal, PHP, and modern frontend frameworks.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• 10+ years of software development, full stack engineering, or systems engineering experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript frontend development.
• Experience designing and developing secure web applications in Linux environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational database technologies.
• Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development teams.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, application security, and modern development practices.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable web applications and collaboration platforms
• Develop frontend and backend solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, and modern web technologies
• Support Drupal-based applications and open-source development frameworks
• Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and implement technical solutions
• Participate in software architecture, system design, and application modernization initiatives
• Develop and optimize database integrations using PostgreSQL and other relational databases
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps processes
• Support application deployments, system enhancements, and production troubleshooting in Linux environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote software development best practices
