Job summary

CAC I International Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support the Department of Homeland Security's Cyber Crimes Center (C3).

You will design and implement scalable web applications and investigative tools, integrating with existing systems and employing dark web technologies for secure, anonymous communications. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver mission-critical software for national security, using modern frontend and backend frameworks and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field and 5+ years of full stack development experience.
• : Experience developing dark web applications using Tor or similar anonymization tech.
• : Proficiency in frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) with strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
• : Backend development with Python, Node.js, or Java; RESTful API design and microservices.
• : Relational databases and SQL optimization; Git and CI/CD workflows; Docker containerization.
• : Knowledge of web security, secure coding, and automation; ability to work across teams; active Public Trust clearance.
• : Strong problem solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex web applications with frontend and backend technologies.
• Develop and maintain custom applications and tools to support DHS C3 investigations.
• Build applications using dark web technologies such as Tor for secure communications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices; enable system integration and data exchange.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Python and JavaScript; implement responsive UIs with modern frameworks.
• Develop server-side apps with Express.js, Django, or Flask; maintain and deploy with Docker, Git, and CI/CD.
• Design and optimize database schemas for performance and scale; integrate with existing systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, infrastructure engineers, and cybersecurity specialists on cross-functional projects.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and QA; document architecture, APIs, and specs.
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues; support SDLC from requirements to production.
