Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and enhance modern applications for a leading insurance client. This remote US position requires hands-on engineering excellence in JavaScript/TypeScript and cloud-native delivery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, drive CI/CD, security, and performance improvements, and translate business needs into scalable technical designs that yield reliable, production-ready systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with JavaScript and TypeScript
• 10–15 years of full stack development experience
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of secure coding, code quality, performance, and modern engineering practices
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical designs
• Strong collaboration and communication in Agile delivery

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance full stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and system designs
• Drive CI/CD practices, code quality, security, and performance optimization
