Innova Solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with AWS expertise for the Columbus, OH area. The role is contract-to-hire, 6+ months, and requires strong backend with Java/Spring Boot and Kafka, with a small amount of React frontend work.

Expect ECS/ECS, Docker, S3, Lambda, and extensive AWS experience for building new APIs from scratch. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, excellent communication, and be able to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Must have Java/Spring Boot/Microservices/API/Kafka + AWS
• Frontend experience with React (approx. 10%)
• Experience with S3/Lambdas/ECS/EC2
• Docker/Kubernetes experience with ECS
• Ability to build APIs from scratch
• Senior level, able to work independently with strong communication
• Observability tools such as Splunk/Dynatrace/Grafana are a big plus
• 8+ years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices
• Build APIs from scratch with robust error handling
• Develop front-end components in React integrated with backend services
• Deploy and operate services using Docker/Kubernetes in ECS
• Implement observability and monitoring with Splunk/Grafana
• Collaborate with teams, own end-to-end features, and communicate status
