Job summary

COMPA Industries is seeking a Software Developer 3 to support Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). The role is hybrid located in Los Alamos, NM, with a 1-year assignment and potential extension.

You will design, develop, and enhance enterprise software solutions within the PA-IT organization, collaborating with customers, technical teams, and stakeholders to build scalable web applications and modernize systems while driving process improvement and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• Eight years of related professional experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience with full-stack web development and CMS/SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise software applications.
• Gather requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Develop system integration, conversion, and deployment plans.
• Create technical documentation and obtain approvals for designs.
