Job summary

Visual Soft, Inc is seeking a Senior Full Stack (Java Stack) Developer to work onsite in Huntsville, AL. Active Top Secret clearance is required for this role.

The candidate will develop and maintain Java applications in the Cloud (AWS preferred) and lead cloud migrations, while mentoring junior developers and ensuring timely delivery of projects. The role calls for strong collaboration with stakeholders and adherence to agile practices.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with BS degree.
• Active Top Secret clearance is REQUIRED.
• Strong leadership and mentoring track record.

Responsibilities

Position: Senior Full Stack (Java Stack) Developer - MUST have an active Top SECRET - work fully ONSITE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop and maintain Java software applications in the Cloud (AWS preferred) using Agile software development techniques
• Support software application migration from an on-premise data center to a cloud environment
• Consult with the business process owners, customers, users and constituents to develop and analyze customer requirements
• Collaborate with members of project teams to ensure successful, technically sound projects which are completed on time and on budget
• Lead and mentor more junior members of the team in the performance of project tasks
• Perform application testing
• Create and maintain application documentation
• Overall 12+ years of experience with BS degree

DESIRED Experience and Qualifications:

• Agile development experience
• Application Server Experience with Agile development

Our standard benefits include:
