Job summary

Pharos Solutions, at its Alexandria branch, seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to own design, development, and deployment across the web stack. The role requires 5+ years of experience and deep TS/JS expertise with React, Vue, or Angular and Node.js/TypeScript.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular), and meta-frameworks (Next.js, Nest.js, or Nuxt).
• Mastery of at least one core server-side language ecosystem (Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Java, or Ruby).
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) and designing robust REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Proficient in query optimization and schema design.
• Experience with Docker, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong portfolio of successful projects and practical experience addressing real-world challenges.
• Commitment to automated testing (unit, integration, E2E), security best practices, and agile delivery.
• Fluency in English (German is a plus).

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery: Own the design, execution, and deployment of complex features across the entire web stack.
• System Architecture: Build scalable, secure REST or GraphQL APIs and optimize client-server communication and database query performance.
• Full-Stack Quality: Write clean, modular code with high unit/integration test coverage across both frontend client and backend service boundaries.
• DevOps & Deployment: Maintain automated deployment pipelines, monitor production health, and manage cloud/containerized infrastructure.
• Technical Leadership: Partner with Product and Design to evaluate technical feasibility, refine requirements and mentor cross-functional team members.
