Job summary

Pharos Solutions is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for its Alexandria, US-based team. You will architect and implement scalable client-side systems, translate designs into responsive experiences, and drive performance improvements across core web vitals.

You will mentor teammates, define frontend standards, and ensure robust testing strategies using Jest, RTL, Cypress, or Playwright. English fluency is required, German a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of relevant frontend development experience.
• Advanced JS (ES6+) and TypeScript, plus semantic HTML5 and modern CSS approaches.

Responsibilities

• Define and scale client-side architecture with robust data fetching strategies.
• Implement UI/UX from high-fidelity designs across browsers.
• Optimize performance to improve Core Web Vitals.
• Own component system and design tokens for consistency.
• Mentor peers and promote modern frontend best practices and testing strategies.
