We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in React, Next.js, C#, microservices, DevOps, and event-driven architecture within AWS for a contract-to-hire EMR modernization and rebuild initiative.
This role is ideal for a senior engineer who is comfortable working across the full technology stack while also contributing to architectural decisions, application design, cloud infrastructure, and deployment strategy. You will join an established 8-person Scrum team and help design and build scalable healthcare technology supporting patients with rare and chronic illnesses.

- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Competitive compensation
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React and Next.js for modern front-end development
- Build robust backend services, APIs, and application components using C# and .NET technologies
- Contribute to the design and implementation of event-driven architectures within AWS
- Design systems using asynchronous communication, messaging, event processing, and loosely coupled services
- Develop and maintain microservices-based applications, including service-to-service integrations and distributed system components
- Participate in architectural discussions and help establish scalable, reliable, and maintainable application patterns
- Build new applications and products from the ground up rather than focusing solely on feature enhancements or production support
- Design and integrate APIs and services across distributed healthcare technology platforms
- Collaborate with engineering leadership, product teams, analysts, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Work within Azure DevOps for source control, backlog management, build pipelines, releases, and development workflows
- Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps processes
- Participate in infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support activities
- Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, scalability, observability, and security
- Participate in code reviews and help establish engineering standards and development best practices
- Work within an established 8-person Scrum team delivering solutions through 3-week sprint cycles
- Participate in sprint planning, refinement, estimation, daily Scrum activities, demonstrations, and retrospectives
- Support and enhance applications within a larger EMR and healthcare technology ecosystem
- Apply security, scalability, performance, and healthcare data protection best practices throughout the development lifecycle
Requirements

- Strong knowledge of software design principles, scalable application patterns, and system integration
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including repositories, work items, builds, releases, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including automated testing, continuous integration, continuous deployment, environment management, and production support
- Experience building applications or platforms from the ground up
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum engineering teams and sprint-based delivery models
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
