Job summary

Kelly is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our client’s team in Houston, TX on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on enterprise applications using VB.Net, .NET, MVC, and SQL Server, with Azure DevOps for source control and collaboration.

You'll design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components, work with cross-functional teams, and participate in Agile ceremonies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our global team in Houston, TX. In this client-facing role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications built on VB.Net, .NET, MVC, and SQL Server.

The ideal candidate:

A hands‑on developer with strong backend and frontend experience, a thorough grasp of application architecture, and practical expertise using Azure DevOps for source control, work item tracking, and collaboration. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions in a fast‑paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using VB.Net, .NET Framework/.NET, MVC, and SQL Server.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years hands‑on full stack development experience in an enterprise environment.
• Strong experience with VB.Net, .NET, and MVC application development.
• Solid background with SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps for repositories, work item management, and tracking.
• Strong knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
• Understanding of full application lifecycle from development to support/maintenance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to resolve application issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with REST APIs and service‑oriented architectures.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience supporting applications in cloud or hybrid (Azure preferred) environments.
• Willingness and ability to learn emerging tools, frameworks, and technologies.
