Job summary

MSD is seeking an experienced engineer to lead enterprise web architecture using Sitecore XM Cloud and headless approaches. You will build and implement web interfaces from concept to deployment, ensuring performance and scalability for high traffic sites.

You will integrate with multiple APIs, mentor teams, and drive SSR/SSG strategies while collaborating with content authors and marketing. A bachelor’s degree is required, with advanced degrees preferred, and 5+ years in full-stack development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is required; Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of full-stack web development with two years Sitecore headless development (XM Cloud, Experience Edge).
• Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP) and frontend/backend tech like Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis, Next.js, TypeScript, React, Sitecore JSS SDK, Tailwind CSS, Vercel/Netlify.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement headless web apps using Next.js and Sitecore XM Cloud with UI/UX best practices.
• Build reusable React components mapped to Sitecore templates.
• Optimize application performance for large site visitors and implement SSR/SSG strategies.
• Configure Sitecore XM Cloud environments and Experience Edge; develop custom Sitecore components.
• Integrate Sitecore APIs (GraphQL, REST, Layout Service) and support content authors.
