Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a BioPharma Reporting & Specialty Analytics engineer to act as a full-stack software craftsman, delivering analytic products from complex clinical data sources. You will build reports, dashboards, and data pipelines to enable pharmaceutical manufacturers’ data initiatives while supporting daily operations and sales enablement tools.

The role requires 4–8 years of experience with Python and SQL, comfort with open-source tech, and experience in healthcare data.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, good work ethic and sense of humor.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (OOP, Declarative, Functional).
• Python experience is required.
• SSIS experience is preferred.
• Airflow experience is desired.
• Data visualization with Tableau is desired.
• Must have SQL experience with relational databases (MS SQL preferred).
• Comfortable with open-source technologies.
• Experience with healthcare data is preferred.
• Experience building & deployment pipelines to support CI/CD (ArgoCD, Harbor, Liquibase).
• Experience with GCP is preferred; GKE Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Building analytic products from clinical data sets sourced from EMR, PMS, PDS.
• Providing reports/dashboards to drive efficacy and usage of clinical products.
• Enriching data elements from reference source systems to enhance analytic offerings.
• Developing and defining new products to enable manufacturers' data initiatives.
• Supporting and building Sales enablement tools to provide feasibility requests to manufacturers.
• Daily operations and support.
