Job summary

Peraton is seeking a senior software engineer in Maryland with active TS/SCI clearance to lead cloud software research, development, and engineering services. You will drive the full SDLC for mission-critical applications, design distributed systems, and work with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver robust cloud solutions.

Required are 20+ years SWE experience, a BS in CS or related field (or substitution), UNIX/Linux (RedHat) expertise, and strong NoSQL/Big Data,

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with current Polygraph required.
• Twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) for programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline; four additional SWE years may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide cloud software research, development, and engineering services.
• Lead full SDLC from requirements to deployment for mission-critical cloud apps.
• Develop end-to-end Full-Stack software services and large-scale distributed systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers.
