Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Beachwood, OH is seeking a Software Engineer II - ASP.Net for an onsite role (4 days/week). You will lead the technical design of complex components supporting critical applications and mentor other developers to deliver innovative solutions to customers.

Responsibilities include lifecycle support, collaboration with leaders and product owners, and ensuring clean, well-documented code with unit/UI tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years experience in relevant programming languages.
• Full stack development experience with React/Angular/Vue, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP.NET MVC API.
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Procedures.
• Experience with Agile teams.
• Knowledge of design frameworks and patterns and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact and lead support for one or more critical applications and processes.
• Support application lifecycle: develop, test, release and support, with guidance from senior engineers/architects.
• Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Produce maintainable code and adhere to coding standards.
• Document systems and diagrams; write unit/UI tests and use CI/CD for deployments.
• Triage production issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Lead backend database design efforts and collaborate on UI/UX design.
• Assist in hiring and interview processes.
• Other projects as assigned.
