Job summary

Aptonet in Indianapolis is seeking a Senior Web Application Developer to translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready designs and lead technical discussions with stakeholders. You will own full-stack development with .NET/C#, Node.js, and Python, mentor teams, define RESTful APIs, and drive cloud, security, and CI/CD practices across the lifecycle.

Experience shaping architecture, applying microservices, serverless patterns, and AI-enabled capabilities is valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 8 years of professional experience in full-stack web application development.
Strong experience with .NET and C#.
Experience with Node.js, Python, or comparable technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, and development of full-stack web applications.
Develop backend services and components using .NET and C#; work with Node.js, Python, or other technologies as required.
Design scalable architectures using microservices and serverless patterns.
Define and apply architectural patterns, coding standards, and software engineering practices.
Conduct code reviews and support technical decision-making across the development lifecycle.
Design, develop, and maintain secure RESTful APIs; define API contracts and versioning strategies.
Integrate applications with AI/ML capabilities and external AI APIs; ensure data privacy and security.
