Job summary

Ersilia in San Francisco seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own and build net-new product areas at a high-growth AI startup transforming insurance operations. You will join a 15-person team and build from scratch 80% of the time, driving a new browser automation and document intelligence platform.

You’ll ship features quickly on a modern TS/React/Node.js stack, collaborate cross-functionally, and demo to customers. 4–8 years of experience required; on-site in SF.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in full-stack engineering, shipping customer-facing products end-to-end
• Proficiency in modern stack: TypeScript/React/Node.js
• Experience deploying AI/LLM-based solutions is a plus
• Strong academic performance encouraged (GPA 3.7+); IIT/JEE ranking positive signal

Responsibilities

• Own and build conversational, real-time AI agents for insurance operations, end-to-end
• Ship net-new features rapidly (first PR to production in week one) across a modern TS/React/Node.js stack
• Work cross-functionally with product and forward-deployed engineering teams, and demo features to customers
• Shape technical decisions on architecture, tooling, and infrastructure as an early engineer
• Mentor newer engineers and help establish engineering best practices as the team grows
