Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Design Engineer to own the fuel system development lifecycle for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms in Costa Mesa, CA.

You will design fuel systems, coordinate with software, systems, testing, manufacturing, and suppliers; ensure qualification through testing and integration; eligible for U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 12+ years designing aircraft fuel systems or related aerospace fluid systems.
• Experience across product lifecycle from concept through testing and qualification.
• Experience with CAD tools such as Siemens NX (or equivalents).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop aircraft fuel systems from concept through testing and qualification.
• Detail design of fuel system components including tubing, pumps, filtration, gauging, venting, and refueling/defueling.
• Collaborate with software, systems, testing, manufacturing, suppliers to develop and integrate fuel system hardware.
• Support component selection, prototype builds, qualification, testing, and system integration throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and fuel systems architects while taking ownership of increasingly complex designs.
