Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an experienced FTR Principal Trader to develop and execute trading strategies in the PJM FTR markets. You will analyze market fundamentals, manage risk, and trade across long-term, annual, and monthly auctions.

The role requires deep PJM knowledge, 12+ years in power trading, and proficiency with FTR Center, Enverus, Panorama, Excel, Python, and R. You will collaborate with market participants and internal desks to optimize portfolio performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or related field; master's preferred.
Minimum 12+ years of power trading experience with focus on FTR/CRR markets.
Demonstrated success in FTR trading strategies and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

Research and model PJM FTR market fundamentals to identify profitable opportunities.
Develop trading strategies from congestion patterns, outages, and market conditions.
Execute FTR transactions across Long-term, Annual, Monthly auctions and the secondary market.
Monitor portfolio risk, mark-to-market valuations, and risk metrics.
Collaborate with trading desks to optimize overall energy trading strategy.
