Job summary

Deloitte’s Forward Deployed Engineers seek a Lead Frontier GenAI FDE to partner with strategic clients, guiding pods that deploy GenAI solutions into production. You will set technical direction, review architecture, and remain hands-on while influencing C-suite stakeholders.

Responsibilities include leading 2-5 onshore/offshore engineers, enforcing delivery standards, and shaping end-to-end GenAI applications across cloud platforms. Travel ~50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, data science, or analytics engineering.
• 1+ years building and deploying GenAI/LLM-powered solutions
• 1+ years leading project workstreams translating business problems into AI solutions

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior client-facing engineering partner for client product, data, and platform leaders.
• Lead executive-level discovery and define success metrics from prototype to production and scaling.
• Navigate organizational complexity to align sponsors, IT leadership, and business owners.
• Represent Deloitte's FDE capability in client pursuits and engagements.
• Lead pods of 2-5 onshore and offshore engineers; manage execution and delivery health.
• Mentor and develop junior FDEs.
