Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who will help us design and build intuitive, high-performance web application UI/UX in Vue that make complex healthcare data approachable, actionable, and beautiful.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of front-end features for Serif Health’s customer-facing products, dashboards, and internal tools.
- Build responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces in VueJS that simplify exploration of complex healthcare data.
- Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs and deliver rich data-driven visualizations.
- Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into polished, user-friendly experiences.
- Establish and maintain design system components, ensuring consistency across all applications.
- Conduct user research and feedback cycles to continuously refine UI/UX.
- Advocate for usability, accessibility, and design best practices across the engineering team.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience building modern web applications with VueJS.
- Deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with UI/UX design workflows, from wireframes to interactive prototypes.
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, ECharts, or similar).
- Strong product intuition and empathy for end users; ability to translate complex data into usable interfaces.
- High attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, distributed team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare data: medical claims, prescription drugs, life sciences, procedures pricing or billing.
- Familiarity with API-driven applications and REST integrations.
- Experience with design systems (e.g., Storybook, Figma component libraries).
- Experience building web application UX and UI atop interactive, agentic / LLM-based workflows
- Prior work in a startup or high-growth software company environment.
