Hyatt is seeking a Senior Front End Product Engineer to join our Digital team in Bellevue, WA. You will architect and deliver scalable, high-performance digital solutions across Hyatt’s global platforms, mentoring engineers and collaborating with product, design, and QA teams.

You’ll lead complex frontend features, design scalable architectures, uphold coding and testing standards, and improve performance, accessibility, and observability. Local Seattle-area location may apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in front-end software engineering or an equivalent software development role.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, microservices, authentication providers, and third-party services.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, Agile development, and production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of complex frontend features across the technology stack.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable frontend architectures.
• Mentor mid-level engineers through code reviews and best practices.
• Define and uphold standards in coding, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate requirements into implementations.
• Enhance observability, reliability, and performance of production systems.
• Promote modern tools, frameworks, and cloud technologies.
• Serve as a technical lead on designated projects or initiatives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into intuitive digital experiences.
