Job summary

Headway is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Web Platform to lead a five-person frontend team and own the vision for our design system and web architecture. You will set the strategy and roadmap with Design leadership and Engineering Foundations, driving faster delivery with higher quality.

You will stay close to code, review PRs, and apply AI tools to frontend work, while mentoring engineers and aligning multiple product teams toward a shared frontend roadmap.

Qualifications

• Strong background in frontend leadership, including managing senior engineers.
• Deep experience with React and modern web architectures.
• Proven ability to align design and engineering teams toward a shared roadmap.
• Experience using AI tools in frontend development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Web Platform frontend team and own the vision for design system and web architecture.
• Set strategy and roadmap in partnership with Design leadership and Engineering Foundations.
