Wolt is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend-leaning) to own complex frontend initiatives across TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MFE architecture, within the Berlin hub. You’ll shape the platform used by hundreds of engineers and multiple product teams, delivering scalable, reliable tooling.

This role offers ownership, cross-team collaboration, and opportunities to build agentic development and high-quality developer experiences while aligning with architectural vision and security

Formación

• Proven expertise in building production frontend applications using TypeScript and React.
• Solid backend knowledge and experience operating Node.js services that support frontend infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of frontend build tools, bundlers, and module systems, and the ability to evolve them as the platform grows.
• Track record of diagnosing and resolving complex performance, reliability, or DX issues in large frontend codebases.
• Experience driving technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills, including experience writing RFCs or ADRs.

Responsabilidades

• Own the Foundation: runtime, build, deployment, and developer experience for 250+ MFEs.
• Evolve Our Micro-Frontend Architecture: improve composition, isolation, and shared dependency strategies.
• Product and Planning: independently drive projects from idea to production with technical plans.
• Supporting Engineering Excellence: champion best practices and code quality improvements.
• Long-Term Thinking: balance short-term blockers with platform health, security, and maintainability.
• Agentic Development: build foundations for AI agents, including instructions, skills, guardrails, and safe changes.
• AI Fluency: work agent-first, delegating to agents while guiding architecture.
