Job summary

Salesforce.com, inc. is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) to join the Experience Library team as a frontend-focused full-stack engineer. You will own features for the Page Builder, building scalable frontend components and collaborating with product and UX to elevate engineering practices.

You will mentor junior engineers, define testing strategies, and help integrate AI tools like Agentforce and Claude into daily workflows to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, frontend/full-stack focus.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript with React experience.
• Solid HTML5/CSS3 knowledge and modern CSS frameworks (Sass/Tailwind).
• Experience with Node.js and building backend services for frontend (BFF a plus).
• Experience with WordPress and Contentful CMS and content-driven rendering pipelines.
• Experience building scalable, performant web apps on public cloud (AWS preferred).
• Experience consuming RESTful/GraphQL APIs and API security best practices.
• Strong web performance fundamentals (Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, caching, CDN).
• Experience with frontend testing (Jest/Cucumber/Selenium).
• Ability to independently lead features with medium-to-high complexity; mentoring engineers.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; able to present designs to stakeholders.
• Related technical degree required.

Responsibilities

• Design and build frontend and full-stack features for the Page Builder platform.
• Lead domain areas within the platform and collaborate with Product/UX.
• Create modular, accessible UI components for marketing pages at scale.
• Define design specs, tests, and deliver high-quality code with performance in mind.
• Integrate AI tools into development workflows to boost productivity.
• Mentor AMTS and MTS through pairing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in code reviews and production monitoring; uphold engineering standards.
• Slice work into tasks, manage dependencies, and communicate risks in sprints.
• Present designs to internal groups and contribute to internal docs and playbooks.
