Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join our Federal Strategic Cyber program, building mission-critical frontend applications used by federal cyber operations. Location: Arlington VA.

Hybrid schedule with on-site presence as needed. You will design and implement frontend solutions using Angular and TypeScript, integrate AI/analytics dashboards, and collaborate with backend teams on API contracts; some Java or NodeJS work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of software engineering experience (or 12+ years without a degree).
• Strong frontend development expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and modern web frameworks.
• HTML5, CSS3, and frontend build tooling (NPM or equivalent).
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of Java or Python for occasional backend tasks.
• Experience with DevOps tools: JIRA, Jenkins, Git.
• Familiarity with cloud services and AI/ML technologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts as they apply to web development.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret security clearance (DHS background check eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript and modern web frameworks.
• Lead development of custom web applications with polished, performant user interfaces.
• Architect scalable frontend solutions including component libraries and responsive design.
• Support integration of AI-driven interfaces and analytics dashboards through the frontend.
• Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts and integration points; occasional Java or NodeJS tasks.
• Tackle cross-browser compatibility, frontend performance optimization, and multi-environment deployments.
• Work in an Agile environment with cross-team collaboration.
• Troubleshoot UI/UX issues and produce clear technical documentation.
