iDbase Software is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable frontend applications using React. You will drive architecture decisions, establish best practices, and mentor engineers to raise the team’s technical capabilities.

You’ll collaborate with backend teams, own major frontend initiatives, and shape the platform’s evolution toward full-stack capabilities. This is a contract position based in Hyattsville, MD.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in frontend or web development technologies.
• Around 7+ years' professional software development experience.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS.
• Experience designing frontend architecture at scale.
• Experience working with APIs and backend services.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with testing, performance and maintainability.
• Ability to make technical decisions independently and explain trade-offs.
• Strong Git and code review experience.
• Coaching and mentoring skills.
• Ownership of projects from idea to delivery.
• Technical leadership experience.
• Java and Spring experience beneficial for full-stack work.
• Understanding of component architecture, state management and app structure.
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture and scalable design practices.
• Knowledge of integrating frontend with APIs and backend services.
• Understanding of version control and code review practices.
• Awareness of technical risk and debt management.
