Job summary

Solvd Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong frontend focus to join a global e-commerce engineering team.

You will design and deliver frontend features with emphasis on technical SEO, performance, and crawlability, working across SSR/CSR, APIs, and backend services as needed. You will collaborate with product, design, content, SEO, and analytics teams to build fast, discoverable web experiences that support business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend development experience with React.
• Strong SEO and performance optimization expertise.
• Experience building SSR/CSR with a focus on crawlability and UX.
• Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs and Node.js services.
• Collaborative with SEO, content, analytics, product, and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain UI applications and components with a deep understanding of SSR, CSR, and their implications for crawlability, indexation, performance, and UX.
• Translate SEO requirements into scalable engineering solutions — metadata frameworks, canonicalization strategies, internal linking patterns, structured data, sitemap support, and robots directives.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs in close collaboration with backend and platform teams.
• Monitor and improve page performance signals that influence organic search outcomes, including Core Web Vitals, rendering efficiency, and content delivery strategies.
• Work independently in ambiguous problem spaces — clarify requirements, propose options, and converge on pragmatic solutions that balance SEO, performance, maintainability, and UX.
• Partner with product, design, content, SEO, and analytics teams to implement search-friendly experiences aligned with business goals.
• Communicate execution plans, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to keeping software and tooling current with modern best practices in frontend engineering, web architecture, and technical SEO.
