Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a senior frontend engineer to own the design, delivery, and operation of frontend services. You will translate ambiguous requirements into concrete designs and build accessible, high-performance interfaces while contributing to the shared design system.

You will explain technical designs to cross-functional partners and provide guidance to engineers, ensuring alignment with architectural and business goals. Hybrid in Phoenix with in-office days Tue–Thu.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UI or frontend engineering experience.
• Production experience with React or equivalent and TypeScript.
• Experience with Next.js or equivalent, design systems, web performance, accessibility, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of frontend services.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical designs through analysis.
• Build accessible, high-performing interfaces and contribute to the design system.
• Explain designs to engineering, Product, and Design partners and ensure shared understanding.
• Provide technical guidance and training to engineers; review work products.
• Operate services independently and seek leadership for broad impact decisions.
