Job summary

3Y Health in San Francisco is seeking a Frontend Engineer to craft intuitive, high-performance interfaces for providers on our AI-first platform. You will own modular UI components and collaborate closely with design and product to deliver elegant experiences.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in frontend roles with React, TypeScript, and a focus on UI/UX. This is a fully in-person role on a San Francisco team offering stock options and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and frontend architecture.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality UI/UX with design/product teams.
• Ability to write clean, modular, scalable code with reusability.
• Bonus: backend experience (Node.js, Express, GraphQL).
• Bonus: founding engineer or founder experience.
• Must be able to work 5 days a week in San Francisco, in-person.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable, performant, and accessible frontend components using React and TypeScript.
• Work closely with designers to bring beautiful, user-centered experiences to life.
• Own UX polish and interaction quality; continuously seek ways to improve usability.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API interfaces and occasionally implement backend logic as needed.
• Influence frontend architectural decisions and promote best practices in code modularity and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team rituals.
• Bring a founder’s mindset - proactive, product-focused, and eager to take ownership.
