Job summary

Sohogtech is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to deliver polished, production‑quality prototypes and internal applications at high speed. You will transform rough ideas into functional user experiences and collaborate with product leaders and technical teams to craft modern tools.

You will work on dashboards, data‑heavy interfaces, and scalable UI components, prioritizing accessibility, performance, and clean code. This role is hybrid and United States‑based.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• Proficient with React and TypeScript on a daily basis.
• Experience building design systems, component libraries and tokens.
• Strong knowledge of modern frontend tooling and performance considerations.
• Experience with data-heavy dashboards and complex UIs.
• Strong eye for visual design and UX, able to work without a designer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable component libraries and enterprise design systems.
• Define and manage design tokens, themes, typography, spacing, and reusable UI standards.
• Build complex, data-heavy user interfaces including dashboards, large tables, advanced filtering, sorting, and drill-downs.
• Develop reusable table and grid components using AGGrid or similar technologies.
• Work with tooling like Vite, Tailwind, TanStack Query and related libraries.
• Implement efficient client-side data fetching, caching, state management, and API integration.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to refine requirements and improve usability.
• Make independent UI/UX decisions when detailed designs are unavailable.
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) and contribute to frontend testing strategies.
