U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Front-end Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain best-in-class software experiences.

The role requires collaboration across teams, adherence to Agile workflows, and ownership of frontend modules from development through deployment. The ideal candidate has 5–6 years of relevant experience, deep React and JavaScript skills, and familiarity with modern frontend tooling, testing, accessibility, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, operate and maintain products.
• Take full stack ownership by writing production-ready code.
• Ensure design adheres to architectural best practices for scalability, reliability and performance.
• Perform analysis on failures, propose design changes, and drive improvements.
• Make coding decisions with customer experience as a priority.
• Incorporate feedback from code reviews to meet standards.
• Conduct code reviews to share engineering best practices and compliance.
• Ensure all product development follows security and compliance best practices.
