Job summary

ID.me is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Front End to join the Applications team in Mountain View, CA, building the SuperApp — ID.me's web experience that unlocks offers and services for members. You will work on customer-facing surfaces, including the Browser Extension and Home Page, using React and TypeScript, with opportunities to extend into Shop surfaces as needed.

This on-site role requires 4+ years of frontend experience, strong React/Next.js skills, and experience with browser

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years frontend engineering experience (or 2+ years with a Master's).
• Experience building browser extensions (Chrome/Edge/Firefox) with content scripts and MV3.
• Solid production experience with React and Next.js.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the SuperApp's customer-facing web surfaces (Browser Extension, Home Page, Life Events).
• Implement discovery and offer detection features surfaced as users browse and shop online.
• Integrate with Platform APIs for merchant, offer, and eligibility data.
• Collaborate with Design and Product to translate discovery into UI.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and cross-browser reliability across Chrome, Edge, Firefox.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents and bugs.
