Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer for an onsite role in Jersey City, NJ. The role blends frontend and backend work, with a strong emphasis on React/TypeScript UI and Java services behind them. You will contribute to the Cloud Health product and integrate AI agents and workflows.

Join an Agile team, collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers, and participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to raise engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Strong frontend focus with React, including hooks and performance optimization.
• Experience with micro frontends (MFEs) and Storybook for component docs.
• Backend development in Java and SQL database work.
• Experience creating and managing AI agents and AI workflows.
• Knowledge of MCP connectivity and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain responsive UIs in React and TypeScript.
• Develop MFEs and shared UI components documented in Storybook.
• Develop and enhance backend services and APIs in Java.
• Work with SQL databases, including design and optimization.
• Create and integrate AI agents/workflows into the product.
• Collaborate in an Agile team and participate in reviews and sprints.
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to engineering standards.
